Letting Go of the Past

What space could be cleared for you to create anew? What relationships could have closure, healing, or acceptance applied? Would the result of forgiving leave you feeling lighter? It’s an option and a powerful choice! Sometimes we don’t know how or where to begin because the emotion of resentment has become so indulgent and feels so justified. We come to accept things where friction exists because showing up differently would just take a lot more work. Let’s be honest. It’s just easier to hold the grudge or be miserable!

But, every once in a while, we get sick of feeling miserable. That’s when forgiveness becomes an option. When we forgive others and ourselves, we create kindness for ourselves. Read that again...for OURSELVES! Weird right?

Forgiving the past allows us to move into the space we’d like to create for ourselves right now. It's like providing ourselves a blank canvas for our imagination to start creating the next best version of ourselves.
