If children refused to get up everytime they fell down when learning to walk, walking would never happen. But, they get up and try again….everytime! As adults we aren’t as willing to fall down and try again because we have become conditioned to think that it’s not safe unless we know exactly how to do new things.

Our brain would like to to see evidence that we are good at that new thing we are trying before we do it. However, that is not how growth happens! In order to become good at something new, you have to be able to embrace the discomfort. That’s the only difference between those who choose to change or try something new and those who do not, The ones that want to change are willing to be comfortable with discomfort. Everything you try for the first time is going to have some discomfort involved. Do it anyway! Stretch, grow, evolve...be willing to feel discomfort or failure so that you can grow into the best version of yourself. Are you ready? Can you feel the call to stretch and grow? Don’t deny it any longer! Let’s go!
